We wish the best for Dr. Victoria Peterson in her new role as a faculty researcher at Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Cientificas y Technicas (CONICET) in Argentina. Dr. Victoria Peterson received her Ph.D degree from Universidad Nacional del Litoral (Argentina) in 2018. During her studies she focused on rehabilitative Brain-Computer Interfaces applications, developing robust machine learning methods for brain signal decoding.
After two years as a Postdoctoral fellow at the Instituto de Matemática Aplicada del Litoral, UNL-CONICET (Argentina), Dr. Peterson joined the Brain Modulation Lab in 2021 as a Harvard Research Fellow. She brought incredible experience and knowledge of machine learning and neural networks as demonstrated by her work on the CRCNS : Deep Neural Network Approaches for Closed - Loop DBS and her nomination for the 2021 Annual BCI Award. We are saddened by her departure, but we couldn’t be more excited for what she has planned next, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration and working on future projects with her!
